Well here it goes. It seems to be the "thing to do" these days to write down personal thoughts, feelings, emotions, life lessons, tragedies, triumphs all for everyone to see and comment on. I must say it feels both frightening and exciting for me. I am an extremely private person these days. I've always been a shy and quiet type, but after the past several years of my life I have to fight myself daily to not hibernate.
But first, I feel as though I should let you know a little about me. I am a forty-one year old woman. What? I know I can't believe it either. Oh my where has the time gone? Well that I can partially answer by telling you this.... I am a wife, mother of four, full-time Nicu transport nurse, daughter, sister, and friend. I believe in God. I believe in love. I believe in grace. I am gripping onto my belief in hope with everything I've got left these days. (hence the blog name)
I have been married to my high school sweetheart for twenty-three years. My children are all adopted. My oldest son is eighteen years old. He is severely mentally and physically handicapped. My two other sons are 17 and 15. I also have one beautiful asian daughter who is only five years old, but she has a very wise old soul.
Well that's enough of getting to know me for now. I will be blogging about my crazy twisted journey through this life and hopefully, just hopefully, I'll be able to make some bit of sense out of it all!
